Hyderabad: The city's longest cycle track along the side of the service road of Outer Road Ring (ORR) would be completed before summer the of 2023, municipal administration and urban development minister KT Rama Rao announced on Tuesday.
Addressing a gathering of officials and cyclists after laying the foundation stone for the track, KTR said that the idea of setting up this one-of-a-kind cycle track with solar roofing was shared with him on Twitter where the South Korean model was cited a-kind cycle track with solar roofing was shared with him on Twitter where the South Korean model was cited.
"I immediately sent a delegation officials to study the South Korean model. They also studied the one in Dubai as well. We came up with our own improvised version in a bid to encourage non-motorised mobility in the city," KTR said.
