Hyderabad: Not only are bigger gaming studios like Purple Talk investing in Web3 technology to build games, smaller ‘indie’ or independent developers have released the first look of their big budget content driven games which are slated for release in the next two-three years.

“The gaming industry in India and Hyderabad is seeing rapid change because more games with higher ‘LifeTime Value’ (LTV) are being made out of India which is targeted for the global market. What this means is that the games won’t die very soon but will have a long playing tenure as the content is strong and can sustain the audience’s attention to it,” says Vaishnavi Palleda, director of BigCode Games, founded in 2017.
