Hyderabad: In the wake of the alleged sexual assault case at a private school in Banjara Hills, the state education department is mulling uploading details of private schools across Telangana on its website. The aim is to help parents ascertain if a school is recognised or not.

This will include schools affiliated with other boards — Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), and International Baccalaureate (IB), among others — along with those under state board, sources said.

Details about the school’s address, recognition, how many classes it is permitted to run and till which grade, etc will be made available on the website.
