Ahmedabad:Babusinh Jadhav (65) is making his electoral debut as a BJP candidate from Vatva but he isn’t a political novice.

He learned on the job from senior BJP politician and former state junior home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja whom he served as personal assistant for two decades. Jadeja was among the 23-member Vijay Rupani cabinet replaced by BJP last year and had written to the BJP high command not to consider him for a ticket ahead of the 2022 polls.

“My ticket, my seat is all because of Pradipsinh Jadeja. In fact, saheb is campaigning for me, telling voters that every vote for Jadhav will be a vote for Jadeja and BJP,” Jadhav told TOI.
