New Delhi: They will conduct a lie-detector examination on him on Wednesday as he was found fit to undergo the same. Sources said Aaftab’s blood pressure was monitored and he also underwent an electro cardiogram (ECG) to ascertain that he was mentally and physically ready for the lie-detector test.
A narco-examination will be conducted subsequently. Sanjeev Gupta, assistant director, FSL, said they had done extensive preparation for the polygraph test. “We will have 3-4 FSL members present during the test. We will begin the exercise as soon as a Delhi Police team arrives with the accused. We are treating this as a special case,” he said.
During the polygraph test, two people will pose questions to Aaftab, while others will monitor his physiological reactions on a computer screen. Sensors will be attached to his body, which will monitor different parameters, such as the breathing rate, pulse, blood pressure and perspiration.
