New Delhi: Built more than a century ago, the quaint Delhi Cantonment Railway Station is about to undergo a major revamp. The station located on the Delhi-Jaipur railway line will not only get a new façade and a facelift but also an elevated road to make access easier.
Almost all the trains going from Delhi to Rajasthan and Gujarat halt at this station, which is well connected by road to various parts of the city. However, Janak Setu flyover right in front of the station has made access to the station difficult. Other the impediments are the absence of wide approach roads and inadequate parking facilities.
