New Delhi: Even as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is working on a war footing to complete at least one section of the 12.3km Majlis Park-Maujpur corridor of its Phase-IV project by the next year, its official target for constructing the entire corridor has now been fixed at November 2024, while two other "priority corridors" are to be completed by September 2025.
"This is the first stretch of phase-IV, which is targeted for completion by November 2024," said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director of corporate communications at DMRC. He said the first stretch would subsequently be opened for the public after an inspection and clearance by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety.
