New Delhi: Delhi Jal Board issued its monsoon order on Thursday on the presumption that rains will hit the city by the end of this month. It has also given its officials guidelines on how to manage waterlogging.
According to the monsoon order, there are 40 locations that are susceptible to flooding every monsoons. In an effort at a "joint effort" at handling this annual problems, DJB has appointed 12 nodal officers from its maintenance wing to oversee management and to coordinate with the Public Works Department and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on problems related to waterlogging.
