Road repair, streetscaping to take a hit under GRAP-IV

New Delhi: With the implementation of the fourth stage of Graded Response Action Plan due to high levels of air pollution, many crucial road infrastructure projects have come to a halt for the next few days, according to Public Works Department (PWD) officials.

PWD, the key government agency constructing road infrastructure, is likely to suffer a delay in meeting deadlines. Earlier, Delhi government had started work on the decongestion plan for 77 roads, which included longterm and short-term projects. But all of them have now been halted.
