When and why was PhotoClub 247 founded?
Initiated as a lockdown project in 2020, professional photographer Paul Crawford began offering in-person workshops and courses for beginner photographers in Northern Ireland since 2011. To expand his reach, Paul had always wanted to create online courses. With an empty diary during lockdown, it presented the perfect opportunity to focus on developing his learning material for an online audience.
To promote his online course, Paul hosted free webinars covering diverse photography-related topics. Over time, these webinars gained popularity, attracting a community of loyal participants. In response to the growing interest, we rebranded and launched PhotoClub247 in January 2022. This platform offers members a dedicated profile to showcase their images, as well as engage in discussions with fellow members, and provide advice and guidance.
What does PhotoClub 247 offer to new members?
As a new member, you’ll gain access to our impressive ‘Webinar Replay Library’, which now includes more than 150 recorded webinars.
In addition, you’ll receive your own profile where you can share images in various photography genre groups or post them to the Members feed to receive comments and advice from fellow members.
Our community of friendly photographers is always willing to offer assistance and guidance to aspiring photographers.
Describe a typical club meeting
Unlike traditional in-person camera clubs, we host everything online, offering a unique and convenient way to connect with fellow photography enthusiasts.
