BAYERN MUNICH (GERMANY)
Trophies won: 83
With a record 33 league titles, the German giants continue to be a dominant force in the Bundesliga and have 20 German Cups to go with 10 League Cup successes. But they have also been a force on the continental scene, with six victories in the Champions League (and its predecessor the European Cup), to go with UEFA Cup and Cup Winners' Cup victories. They have also won the Club World Cup twice and the old Intercontinental Cup on two occasions. They are one of the great clubs of world football.
AL-FAISALY SC (JORDAN)
Trophies won: 84
Al-Faisaly have been the traditional force in Jordanian football, especially through the 1970s and 80s, but they continue to pick up titles at regular intervals. They have won 35 league championships and two trophies in the Asian Cup, which is kind of akin to the UEFA Europa League for teams from the Asian confederation. The Blue Eagles were founded in 1932 and have dominated the local scene, with the next most successful side in terms of Jordanian league titles being Al-Wehdat (17).
FC BARCELONA (SPAIN)
Trophies won: 99
The Catalan giants are closing in on a century of major trophies, which does not include their regional titles in Catalunya as they are not open to clubs from all around the country. They have 77 domestic pieces of silverware (27 LaLiga, 31 Copa del Rey, 2 Copa de la Liga, 14 Supercopa de España, 3 Copa Eva Duarte), to go with their haul of 19 trophies in European football, including the Champions League on five occasions. Barcelona is a true icon of the global game and one of the biggest brands out there, boosted in the past 20 or so years by the presence of Lionel Messi, who astonishingly won 34 trophies in 17 years at the side, an average of two per season.
BENFICA (PORTUGAL)
Trophies won: 86
