BONNER IS STARTING TO BELIEVE

The U’s go into their game at Bolton tomorrow having kept their survival hopes alive by beating Fleetwood.

“I think we need back-to-back wins a number of times before the end of the season to stay in the league, so we have to win these games,” Bonner said. “Home games are really important to us.

“If we show that we can win games when it really matters and we show that we can put back-to-back wins together that gives us confidence in the remaining seven games.

“I thought we were worthy of it; I thought we were excellent. It was a really, really good performance, a spirited performance but with a really good quality in there as well.”
