The club is majority owned by Bond Group Investments Ltd, but has been up for sale since the Autumn.
Several potential investors have been mooted, including world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
Local entrepreneur Sarbjot Johal has publicly stated his intent to buy the club, but the 20-year-old is yet to finalise a formal takeover.
