The Tigers went into the international break only outside the Championship play-off positions on goal difference with Allsop having kept three clean sheets in the last four contests.
It is a welcome fillip for the 31-year-old keeper who has spent the past three campaigns battling at the other end of the table for Wycombe, Derby and Cardiff.
Allsop racked up his 350th senior appearance during Hull’s 1-0 home win over Huddersfield last weekend with that haul including two Premier League games for Bournemouth. The 6ft 2in keeper was also a member of the Cherries’ squad that won promotion to English football’s highest level for the first-ever time in 2015.

“This is the best squad I have been involved in since that Bournemouth one – 100 percent – and it maybe has more than that one had in terms of the levels in training, the way we do things and the messages that are put across to us,” he declared.
