with more vehicles on the road, comes more instances of problems and having a video record of it greatly helps in insurance claims, avoiding issues with law enforcement and so on. On the positive side, a Dashcam also helps in recording memories, logging your trips and also important evidence. The Qubo Dashcam Pro 3K box comes with everything you’d need to get started right away (except the micro SD card for recording long videos and storing). The camera operates with the provided 12v power plug (to plug into car cigarette lighter socket) and an extra long cable. There is also a base plate to slide the cam into.

Setting up the QUBO dashcam in the car was easy. We also managed to connect it to the QUBOPRO app for viewing and downloading images and video clips. The 5 MP front camera records in QHD resolution (2592x1944) and produces crisp videos and images with a 140 degree field of view. They are sharp and good in the day time and at night, the resolution does drop but good enough to read number plates and signboards when the lighting is better with street lights and high beams. The inbuilt 3.2” lcd is enough to see a live view while driving. With the QuboPro app, we could easily record, and download files to the phone. This made it easy to share it with others or on social media. The videos are only downloaded as 1 minute clips and this gets very annoying when you want to download much longer clips.
