Eddy + Wolff might be the Gold Coast’s best-kept dining secret. Much of it has to do with its location. It doesn’t boast stunning beach views like many of its coastal counterparts. Instead, it’s nestled among a row of shops in the backstreets of Robina, a good six kilometres from the beach.
But it all adds to the bar’s charm. Instead of finding out-of-town visitors, you’ll see locals sipping on cocktails like a Phogroni made with pho spices, gin, Campari, vermouth, cinnamon, basil and lime, and tucking into inventive dishes with a strong Vietnamese slant. Soy sauce ice-cream with chilli crumb, garlic and soy caramel for dessert, anyone?
