I HAVE BEEN AN avid traveller all along. For me, travel is not a hobby. It’s a way of life, an ongoing love affair with the boundless beauty and diversity our planet has to offer. I have been very lucky to be able to immerse myself in various cultures. It was my time living in the UK and Paris that truly transformed me; where I fell in love with nightlife, burlesque shows, and cabaret, and got to experience the true art of drag. It was there that the seed for Kitty Su was planted in my head. I came back to India and emphasised what I learned abroad—to create and find your tribe and make a safe space for queer people.
