It’s been almost 25 years since she first appeared on our screens as conservative art dealer Charlotte York. Now back after reprising the well-loved character in And Just Like That…, Kristin Davis, 58, caught up with Woman and tells us, ‘I’m really excited to see the journey that Charlotte goes on.’
Filming And Just Like That… meant being away from home midweek. How did you make it work?
During the filming of the show I was flying back from New York to California every weekend to be with my kids. Honestly, any other job which meant being away from home for so long I would have said no to – but these people and this show have been a part of my life for 25 years now.
After 25 years, have you noticed parts of Charlotte in you and bits of Kristin in Charlotte?
In so many ways, we’re hugely different – but 25 years is a long time and I do think aspects of our personalities have become intertwined.
It was only a cameo and not the return of Samantha many fans hoped for – but how important was Kim Cattrall’s cameo?
