‘SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE WILL BE OFFENDED’
No longer a regular on the Loose Women panel, these days Carol McGiffin spends her time in France, relatively out of the public eye. Speaking of what she enjoys about her life overseas, Carol has gushed, ‘Everything! It’s their way of life, their joie de vivre. The French don’t live to work, they work to live, which I love.’
But despite living it up near the Med with her husband Mark Cassidy, 43, the straight-talking star has admitted that she does sometimes miss appearing on the ITV daytime show, saying, ‘I used to love flying back to London to do Loose Women, but travel got more difficult and Loose Women got more difficult.’

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean.
