Back-to-back events have thrown doubt on the A-listers' romance

When Jennifer Lopez and Ben A eck married last year after rekindling their 2004 romance, it seemed not even a movie script could have been more romantic.

Their August wedding on a beautiful setting in the American south indicated that “Bennifer” would get their happily ever after – which is why friends were so surprised to see them looking so miserable in each other’s company at the Grammys.

Fans and onlookers alike were quick to note that every time the camera panned to Ben, 50, and his 53-year-old bride, the couple seemed locked in a tense exchange.

“However bad of a day you’re having, I promise you’re not as miserable as Ben A eck at the Grammys right now,” tweeted one commenter as Ben’s sour body language spawned hundreds of headlines, with witnesses saying the sober actor clearly did not want to be at the swanky music event. A lip reader commissioned by the Daily Mail later alleged Jen told Ben to “look more friendly... look motivated”.
