At just nine years old, the royal is the youngest ever future monarch to star in a coronation

Carrying out one of his first official duties at his grandfather King Charles III's coronation, adorable Prince George was a bundle of nerves.

While the eyes of the world were on the tiny prince, the nine-year-old with his big brown eyes won over audiences as he performed his duty as a page of honour alongside seven other children, the first future monarch in modern royal history to be involved in such a service.

No one was prouder of the king-to-be than his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, who had spent the past few months preparing him for the biggest day of his life.

"There's no doubt Kate and William were carrying most of the nerves on his behalf, but they're incredibly proud of how brave he's been," says a palace source.
