The Clooneys are looking to start afresh in the French countryside

On the outside, George and Amal Clooney's new life in France looks idyllic. From wandering the quaint villages with their new Saint Bernard pup Nelson and visiting art galleries, to indulging in five-star French restaurants and just kicking back in their $13 million, 172-hectare estate, Domaine du Canadel, with their six-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.

However, according to sources, there may have been an ulterior motive for their sudden relocation - and it was made drastically in order to save their marriage.
