The global pandemic came as a blessing in disguise for many of us. The sudden lockdown shutdowned salons for a considerable span followed by a period of scare of infection, a period of compulsion for sanitization. Social gatherings and public events were prohibited and our interaction shrunk to a small closed group of immediate acquaintances. While we were confined to our homes in seclusion the brushes of blacks washed off and the basic greys surfaced up. Each dawn the mirror reflected a new visage, the real me greeted back.
Slowly but surely this new profile endeared itself, the embarrassment darted, the urge to conceal flit and we accepted ourselves in all our silver glory. Post a couple of virtual assignments/ online appearances we embraced our greys whole-heartedly.
