Many of Oxford's top sights are tied to its ancient university. The Bodleian Library houses over 13 million printed items, including such treasures as Shakespeare's First Folio, manuscripts by Jane Austen and a copy of Magna Carta. Not surprisingly, its stunning vaulted chambers have appeared in several Harry Potter films. Guided tours, from 30 to 90 minutes long, are held daily (visit.bodleian.ox.ac.uk).
