There’s a new way to score snacks, household goods and more at no cost: Get a freebate, a rebate that covers the entire price of a product. “It’s a unique way to try new products for free,” says money-saving expert Andrea Woroch (AndreaWoroch.com). “It helps the brand save because they don’t have to ship out products or print mailers. Instead, you just text a copy of the receipt to the provided number or email.” Then you’ll get refunded, usually via PayPal or Venmo. To find freebate offers, download the free Fetch rewards app (Fetch.com), which regularly releases freebate promotions. For example, Fetch recently offered Dollar Tree shoppers a free 7.5-oz.
