Max Bowland, aka, “The Mad Teat Puller from Lietchville” has always taken interest in hot rods, American muscle cars and drag racing but scored his moniker during the 15 years he spent involved in speedway racing. Max and his wife, Andrea already owned a Pontiac LeMans and after retiring from motor sport, Max figured it was time to fulfil his lifelong dream of owning a hot rod of his own.
In August 2018 Max found this Model A roadster project for sale near his hometown of Cohuna and ponied up the $18.000.00 asking price to make it his. The rolling chassis and repro body package deal came with lots of the parts required to complete the build and after just 14 months Max had indeed built his own hot rod, getting it finished in October last year.
