Xbox One S Worth the Weight?

While Microsoft’s eighth-gen console, the Xbox One, had a pretty terrible run-up to release and first 12-18 months, the PS4 rival has been on an upward curve as of late. The introduction of a new (and much-improved) UI last winter, and the addition of backwards compatibility for an ever-growing library of Xbox 360 games, have helped soothe some of the wounds to its mauled PR profile. The new slimmed down version of the Xbox One, the Xbox One S, looks to carry on that ascendant trajectory with a raft of tweaks and improvements that’ll make it a far more attractive console for early adopters and new users alike.
