JOINED BY SPORTING LEGENDS AT HIS LONDON CEREMONY, BOXER JOSH KELLY WEDS REMY SMITH IN KNOCKOUT STYLE WITH THEIR LITTLE CHAMPION AT THEIR SIDE
One of the proudest moments in Josh Kelly’s boxing Career was walking into New York’s Madison Square Garden for his US debut last month. But it was counting down to his bride Remy Smith’s arrival on their wedding day that saw his pride hit new levels.
“It was surreal. She looked so beautiful,” the 25-year-old Olympian and WBA International welterweight champion tell hello!. “The most nerve-racking moment was when I was waiting at the altar for her, as the emotions were running high.”
The couple exchanged their vows at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in London’s Mayfair. The service was followed by a reception at the historic One Whitehall Place in Westminster, where they were joined by sporting stars including former world champion boxer Frank Bruno.
“He is one of the all-time legends in British boxing. He is an inspiration to me and I’m sure many others,” says Josh, who wore a Tom Ford white tuxedo with black trousers and bow tie.
But it was the couple’s own little champion, their cute eight-month-old son Joshua Junior, who put on a knockout performance.
