The original Logitech Circle was a fairly straightforward smart security camera, but it benefited from Logitech’s well designed and easy-to-use app. So, needless to say, we were really keen when Logitech told us that the new Circle 2 would add support for Apple’s HomeKit too.
A firmware update that adds HomeKit support was released just after the Circle 2 started shipping, so you might need to download it if you buy a unit that shipped early on. Even if you’ll use Circle 2 alone, rather than in a broader HomeKit-powered setup, it proves to be a useful security device.
