Lamborghini does not launch new models quite so often, but when they do, there’s always something that makes headlines. Earlier this year their newest raging bull arrived with the promise of ‘Every Day Amplified’, hinting at what a daily commute could be with a supercar as your steed. The erstwhile Huracan etched its names in the annals of automotive brilliance and stayed at the top of wish-lists for a few years. The first half of 2019 alone has witnessed the sale of over 1,200 Huracans.
The EVO comes in with a breath of fresh air in those V10 lungs, complete with fine-tuning and enhancements in technology, design, and performance. These are, after all, attributes by which we generally gauge the value of a supercar.
But this ticks all these boxes, and then some. Lamborghini has paid special attention to the intimacy between the driver and the vehicle. The performance and behaviour of the car are not only inspired and adapted to the driving style but also convenient and cooperative to use, which makes the driving experience more fun.
Do not mistake the EVO to be an update of its predecessor. In fact, it’s a complete overhaul. Made to conquer both city roads and the racing tracks, it claims to have improved the downforce by nearly seven times, thanks to a design that will only encourage you to stretch its legs on the straights.
