Team India is playing Test cricket since long and they have achieved quite a few records in the long run. They took time to settle down in the longest format of the game but are now one of the best Test units in the world. The team has been lead by many greats in the past and now Virat Kohli is carrying the rich legacy forward. Here is the list of 11 world records which are held by team India at the moment.
MOST CONSECUTIVE SCORE OF 400
India has always been a team of batsmen. The men with bat in their hands have been part of big scores in the past and continues to do so. India as a team has the most consecutive scores of 400 or above (six) in Tests. They achieved the feat between October 1986 and February 1987. The scores were achieved once against Australia, thrice against Sri Lanka and twice against Pakistan.
MOST DUCKS IN AN INNINGS
Any batsman in the world hates to be dismissed without opening his account. However, Team India has a unique distinction in this field as well. During one of the Test matches against England in 2014, six batsmen were sent back to pavilion without troubling the scorers. This is the world record which India shares with Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh.
