You are clocking up those air miles girl.

I do my best.

What’s it like being away from home for so long?

You know, I’ve always done this. I’ve always been in this industry as a professional since I’m 19-years-old. The years that I spent doing morning radio were the most stable years of my life so this is normal for me. Sadly, it’s actually normal for my kids and my husband too. They know what my life is like and luckily I have a family who understands me and supports me. And, we have FaceTime and Skype now, don’t we. It’s not as bad as it used to be.

Do you ever bring your daughters Lily and Lola?

I never get to bring them. Every once in a while when I do the cruises, I bring them all the time on those.

Are they big fans of the drag world?

They could care less. Lola, my youngest, she’s always been more into it than my older one. To me, it’s just like ‘Mom, that’s Mom, that’s what she does’. They love it, you know they love what I do and they love what I stand for. They love what I believe in but they could care less about the TV show.

When you’re on tour with the gals are you Mama Visage to them? Do you ever have to put them in their place?

I feel like I get real with everybody I’m with. That’s just kind of the absolute person that I am. I never lie. I never coddle. It’s just not who I am, but yeah, I am a mom. A lot of them have issues. Some of them don’t have the family life that they’d like to have. I’m actually glad that I can be in that position to them.

At the moment, you’re hanging out with celebs left, right and centre.

Oh, I mean, that’s just my life.
