With foreign investors pumping in a whopping $8.4 billion (Rs 55,641.6 crore), 2015 has been a landmark year for the Indian startup ecosystem. The year started off on a high note with Flipkart, Ola, Snapdeal, Quikr, Zomato and Paytm crossing $1 billion in valuation. But, the pace slowed down later with many companies becoming increasingly reliant on investor money to grow business leading to layoffs.
