En la edición pasada abordamos Berlín, la capital alemana que es hermana de la Ciudad de México en un sentido más trascendente que el plano diplomático y cultural. Sin embargo, una ciudad hermana con un parentesco equivalente al sanguíneo, eso sería Manila para México; la ciudad hermana del Oriente que más rasgos comparte con nuestra metrópoli y con la identidad de casi toda Latinoamérica. / Spring in Manila, an oasis inside another. We covered Berlin for our last edition, the German capital which is also a diplomatic and cultural “sister city” to our own Mexico City. Nevertheless, Manila would be a sister city with a comparable ancestry; a city that shares traits and an identity not only with our own, but with nearly all of Latin America.
