The June/July issues of Men’s Folio traditionally mark the start of summer and this is no different. Titled Summer Dreaming, the curation emphasises the coolest or in this case, hottest happenings in and around the fashion world.

Before diving right in, a segway into the introduction of our cover star — Choi Young-Jae of South Korean boyband GOT7. Donning Omega’s latest timepieces, Young-Jae talks about GOT7’s latest EP release, a little about himself and gives fans a little teaser on his latest solo album.

Headlining the June/July ‘22 issue is also the Men’s Folio Grooming Awards led by Deputy Editor Bryan Goh and a panel of six other beauty and grooming insiders. After spending close to five months testing and vetting various products across 68 categories, we are pleased to announce and send our heartiest congratulations to the winners of the biggest edition of Men’s Folio Grooming Awards yet.

The start of June marks the official launch of the highly anticipated Gucci collaboration with Adidas. That is not the only noteworthy news as Pre-Fall ‘22 clothing and accessories from the likes of Bottega Veneta and Prada amongst others are captured through the creative minds of Associate Creative Director Izwan Abdullah and Senior Fashion Stylist & Writer Manfred Lu. Fans of art will be thrilled to learn about fashion’s involvement in the Venice Biennale as the 59th edition of the fair chronicles the intersections of which art and fashion, such as Christian Dior Couture, meet.

Our features of personalities make for great reads as we chat with Zenith’s CEO Julien Tornare about his fifth anniversary with the Swiss watchmaker, the state of the print industry with Jiahui Tan of Fable, and three fledging filmmakers showing at the European Film Festival with the help of contributor Prashant Somosundram from The Projector.
