STEVE KUCLO THE KINGSNAKE WILL STRIKE AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC!
Steve Kuclo turned pro in 2011 and has had a decent career since then. Still, for a long time I put him in the category of someone who looked great on magazine covers but was likely never going to be an A-list pro. He had a big, wide bone structure that would need a lot more mass to fill out, and his chest and back were both areas that needed major improvement. But this Texan by way of Michigan is all about hard work. He was relentless in his goal of adding the needed mass and balancing out that big diamond in the rough physique. Now as we begin 2020, Steve Kuclo is a very different, much better bodybuilder. He turned pro at 255 pounds, and now brings 285 pounds of grainy, striated muscle to the stage, with far more beef in the pecs and lats. He has now cracked the top five at the Arnold and top six at the Mr. Olympia, elevating him to a higher status of contender. Now as he begins his prep for the 2020 Arnold Classic, The Kingsnake is finally in a position where people are talking about him as a favorite to win.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH CURRENT 212 OLYMPIA CHAMPION KAMAL ELGARGNI - GOING OUT THE CHAMP
Lee Haney did it in 1991. Dorian Yates did it in 1997. Flex Lewis did it in 2017. “What exactly?” you might ask. They all went out on top, retired from their respective divisions as winners on their terms, when they chose to. Current 212 Olympia champion Kamal Elgargni, originally from Libya— now living in my country of the U.K.— I decided to catch up with to find out more on perhaps one of the most unusual career paths of any IFBB pro competing today. It was only March 2018 that the then 46-year-old Kamal was making his long-overdue 212 pro debut shocking us all (not me, though; I’ll explain more later) and winning the Arnold Classic, beating out a-lister 212 names such as Jose Raymond (5th), Dave Henry (4th) and Charles Dixon (2nd). So many questions were thrown around after this surprise win and even more surprising pro debut at age 46. Naturally, this was not the typical series of events that would lead to a pro debut and yet here we were just 21 months later (at time of writing) sitting in Kamal’s front room discussing his competitive retirement.

RISE of the JUGGERNAUT! - The U.K.'s Luke Sandoe Has Big Plans for 2020
LUKE SANDOE REALLY CAME ON OUR COLLECTIVE RADAR IN 2019, WITH A POWERHOUSE SHOWING AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC AND AGAIN THAT SUMMER IN TAMPA. THE OLYMPIA DIDN’T GO QUITE AS WELL. MOST BODYBUILDERS WOULD ONLY SHARE SO MUCH AS TO WHY THEY DIDN’T MEET THEIR GOALS, BUT LUKE IS AN OPEN BOOK. HERE, HE OPENS UP ABOUT HOW HIS HOME LIFE IMPACTED HIS BODYBUILDING, AND GOES INTO DETAIL ABOUT HIS BRUTALLY HEAVY TRAINING STYLE AND WHY IT WORKS BEST FOR HIM.
