In dieser Angelegenheit

We’re only on our second issue, but already, it’s become clear to us at The Networker that the world of South African business is one that is built on a foundation of innovation, dedication, and, above all, a collection of individuals whose passion for their business, and perseverance in establishing their position in the industry is nothing short of profoundly inspiring.

In this month’s issue, we talk to and directly examine the careers of several of these remarkable individuals, including Mr Denver Fondling, the driven and determined founder of Sparcs Design and Advertising, and Wendy-Ann Gietzmann, head of the International Hotel School, and dedicated local authority of the art and business of hospitality.

In addition, we draw on the knowledge, insight and experience of several other dedicated individuals in the local industry. Anita du Toit, partner in Franchising Plus, offers insight into the complex and tempestuous process of converting a business into a franchise; interior designer Stanton Brown draws upon his passion and experience to reflect upon the nuances of heading an interior design company; and life and business coach Gert Grobbelaar reflects upon the process of assisting individual business owners in pinning down their particular strengths and weaknesses, and making use of them to ensure that their business is run at peak efficiency.

For us at The Networker, putting together this month’s issue was a simply unforgettable experience – not simply because of the opportunity it afforded us to encounter these extraordinary individuals, but because of the chance it granted us to continue to play a small role in the fertile, booming, ever-growing realm of South African business.
