Need less to say, they have flourished and produce magnificent blooms.
I have derived many hours of pleasure observing the birds, squirrels and hundreds of tiny wild bees swarming around the flowers. The squirrels have also taken a liking to the flowers, but fortunately it’s not that easy for them to feed on the aloes. All the activity around the flowers has attracted other visitors, including a stripedbellied sand snake.
