Let Me Recur As The BGMEA Building

Let Me Recur As The BGMEA Building

I believe in reincarnation. I believe that human life goes on and on till one is satisfied or the Almighty is and then one may get a break or a pass. But much of the matter lies in choosing a lifestyle that will get the person an upgrade with every birth. That way life is fun and pleasant. So having some experience in the rebirth sector, I would like a rebirth as the BGMEA building. In fact, its not a wish it’s a prediction made by my Indian astrologer about me.

My personal rebirth history

While visiting Kolkata, a couple of years back, I had an evening free. So I took my niece out for a coffee on a lovely evening when I saw this signboard saying, “Pasts revealed.” I was very intrigued and after snacks and beverage I asked my niece if she wanted her past revealed.

“No thanks. I am more keen about my future. You are old, you go on.” So I did, quite interested to learn what great things I had done in my previous life.

The man who was appropriately attired welcomed me in and after some small talk began reading my past from some old parchments. I am not sure if he used them for every past reading but he said that I have had two births before.

Rohingya: Walk A Mile In Their Shoes

My reminiscences of Cox’s Bazar are deeply rooted in my childhood during family vacations taken with my parents and three siblings - horse rides on the beach, sunsets against the widest horizon, charcoal barbecues by nightfall, and copious amounts of seafood throughout our stays. My recent trip to Cox’s Bazar, some 20 odd years later, however, was starkly contrasting in that the circumstance was dire, one which continues to sit steep in my mind.
