A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP
Robinsons department store is now stocking Hugo Boss’ first home and bed linen collection, inspired by the brand’s fashion shows and available in three different, contemporary patterns. the first pattern, Paros, is in a beautiful grey shade, while the second, Pacific, is a combination of ocean blues warmed by nuanced sandy shades – which upon closer inspection reveals small water drops. the third pattern, Connection, incorporates crisscrossing striped ribbons in dark navy shades against a beige backdrop.
Also in stock are Kenzo’s new colourful bed linens. Bamboo is a tribute to Kenzo Takada himself and is a fantasy of colours, creatures and exoticism. Paisley is indicative of the ethnical influences of the designer. With a blue and white palette, it is modern and graphic and ideal for those who are looking to make a bold statement in the bedroom. robinsons.me / 800 67667
A WORLD OF WHIMSY
The Coquecigrues collection by artist and designer Christian Astuguevielle for Pierre Frey is a capsule collection comprising colourful prints, jacquards and wallpapers. Parisian-born Astuguevielle has worked with major fashion houses including Hermès, and with perfumers such as Nina ricci and Comme des Garçons, for whom he has created perfumes, furniture, jewellery and drawings. His love of ancient civilisations, traditions and ancestral rites often informs his work. For Pierre Frey he has adapted an 18th-century toile du Jouy from the house’s archives, incorporating both tradition and modernity. He has also been inspired by rope works and has applied ‘his’ totem pole and other dreamlike designs in black ink to the fabrics and wallpaper. pierrefrey.com / 04 446 4214
