Architecture for religion has been explored in many forms, contexts, styles, influenced by its contexts, its builders and other similar structures built in the time period. Through history, we have observed churches, temples, mosques, synagogues and other structures of religious importance evolve through time and transition due to societal, political and contextual influences. In today’s times of modern architecture experimenting with concrete and forwarding towards minimalism in use, experience and construction, we see the use of unfinished concrete and non-ornamented walls of churches enhancing the spiritual experience.
