Mahindra Trucks and Buses has unveiled a maintenance package for Blazo truck owners to ensure lowest ownership cost.
Taking the unique selling proposition that includes guaranteed service assistance and spares in a stipulated time interval to the next level, Mahindra Trucks and Buses has unveiled a maintenance package that would lead to lowest cost of ownership for transporters who own a Blazo truck. The package contains benefits like increased oil change intervals, reduced lube prices, and six years or six-lakh kilometers warranty (whichever is early). Engineered to let a Blazo owner have peace of mind until his truck turns seven, the OEM is, according to Vinod Sahay, CEO, Mahindra Trucks and Buses, getting the transporter to save up to 30 per cent in servicing cost per annum. Describing it as a game changer, Sahay mentioned, “Unlike a car or an SUV, which does one-lakh kilometers in its lifetime, the Blazo does it every month. In such a context, the package that we have announced will reduce lube costs by almost 20 per cent. The 90,000 km drain interval we offer is the best in the industry.” Of the opinion that the package includes not just the engine oil, but oils for other aggregates like gearbox and the rear axle, Sahay said, “All the elements taken into consideration, the service cost of Blazo would reduce by up to 18 per cent with this package.”
