Royal Enfields Have Always Been So Much More Than the Sum of Their Parts

Memory Lane

History is important. More so in a place like India, where politicians quote Shivaji every two minutes and your parents remind you of their long-forgotten accolades to prove a point. It adds a story and life to something that would otherwise have been inanimate or purely materialistic. It adds emotion. And this is something Royal Enfield understands all too well.

Royal Enfield as a brand has always prided itself on selling so much more than the bike. They sell a lifestyle and character, which breeds loyalty and brotherhood unlike little else. You will see these clans across the country, from small groups of four to huge ones of a hundred, or the lone rider out in search of peace. All of them united nevertheless by their passion for the ‘thump’, something that evokes an emotive response and makes them treat bikes like the Classic 350 as a living and breathing entity. And stories keep that petroleum heart pumping.
