After attending the highly successful Cars in the Park show in Ashburton this year, I was left thoroughly impressed with what I had seen.
The standard of cars on display this year was top notch but there were a few cars that somehow stood head and shoulders above the rest and remained top of my mind. Two cars in particular pulled massive attention from the hoards of people who attended and I just stood back for a few minutes and watched peoples’ reactions to this incredible duo as they passed by. I think it’s the fact that they compliment each other so well that only adds to their appeal. Each one of these custom Capri’s could very easily hold their own individually as show & shine winners, but when you put them side by side it takes the spectators level of appreciation for these two to the next level. Which is why we’ve decided to feature them together…
The masterminds behind these two insane creations are Kelvin Mathurine (gold Capri) and Charles Johnson (green Capri) and they’ve successfully found a way to express their love for Ford Capri’s through custom modifications, each one an extension of their own personality. And while both cars may have a similar overall disposition and feel, they are quite different when you take a closer look at each of them individually.
