Junction 29 in Chesterfield has won awards in recent years and its management is constantly working to ensure that its standards are maintained and improved
Junction 29 has high standards to maintain – it was voted Truckstop of the Year in both 2010 and 2013 – and this is something the management takes seriously. To this end, there is an ongoing programme of investment in facilities, both inside the truckstop and in the lorry park.
As you would expect, Junction 29 is just off junction 29 of the M1 – an easy three-minute drive from the motorway – on an industrial estate surrounded by a circular one-way road.
A vestibule at the entrance to the building has a 24-hour coffee machine and free-to-use cash machine.
The shop on your left carries a large range of truck-related goods and publications (including T&D, of course) as well as the usual sandwiches, snacks/sweets and cold drinks.
