India’s heartthrob Rajiv Bhatia, who the world popularly knows as Akshay Kumar met his soulmate, Mrs. Funnybones or who we better know as Twinkle Khanna in a photoshoot set up by a magazine in Mumbai.

The Origin Of Love

Akshay Kumar has never been one to shy away from proclaiming his love for Twinkle and has always been a doting and supporting partner. Kumar admits that the first time he met Twinkle Khanna, he had instantly fallen for her. Perhaps it’s safe to say that Kumar wasn’t just smitten, he was already falling head over heels in love with her. In an interview, Kumar even confessed to still having the photo that was taken years ago. Who would have thought that a photoshoot for a magazine would lead the two discovering and finding love in each other. However, Twinkle Khanna hadn’t immediately set her eyes on Kumar, she took her own sweet time. It was during the shooting of the film, ‘International Khiladi’ when Twinkle too developed feelings for him and reciprocated Kumar’s love for her. When one is working on a day-to-day basis with their co-star, it is only natural for them to build a bond as they get to know many things about each other. But, whether that bond resembles friendship or love, only time, chemistry and an undeniable connection between each other can tell. One gets the opportunity to really get to know a person, understand who he/she is, discover his/her likes and dislikes and it also renders way for that person to be appreciated. Each person has a different criteria or a set of qualities that one often looks for or falls for when choosing their significant other. Kumar confessed that it wasn’t just Twinkle’s beauty which he was attracted to, he fell more in love with her personality than what she looked like. Kumar was magnetically attracted to the fact that she was wonderful, talented and an extremely strong-willed woman. It comes as no surprise though, not only was Twinkle one of the most beautiful and coveted actresses of her time, she has also been a visual embodiment of power, grace and confidence.
