Celebrating The Holistic CEO

It’s CEO Awards time once again! As you flip through the pages of our magazine, the CEO Awards team is gearing up, working tirelessly, for the fifth edition of this much-awaited gala of industry. This July 25, the who’s who of the corporate world will descend on Taj Lands End in Mumbai to honour and celebrate some of India’s most versatile and exemplary CEOs. These are CEOs who haven’t just excelled in performance, delivering outstanding corporate results, but their personalities extend beyond the boardroom, with a penchant for other facets of life. This brand of CEO inspiringly sports a DNA made of not just business acumen and number-crunching skills, but also a passion to maximise life in every sphere. They give quality time to their families, passionately follow their interests and hobbies, and often take the step forward to give back to society and community at large. In short, the CEO Awards looks at bestowing laurels upon such multidimensional CEOs who balance work and life to the hilt.

Last month, the eminent jury for the awards met in a closed-door session to evaluate this year’s nominees. They deliberated, debated and discussed to reach a consensus on the most outstanding ‘individuals’ for each of the 10 award categories.

For an award deemed the apex recognition of its kind, the jury too has been of the highest order. Each is an industry visionary and leader with exceptional contributions to her/his field and the business ecosystem in general. Each leads or has led some of the country’s top corporations, executed winning strategies, mentored leaders, built talent and organisational capabilities, as also helped shape industry. While some have been jury members for the CEO Awards since its inception, others are first-timers.
