WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND GAIA?
When Gaia was launched in the year 2009,the health food market in India was at a nascent stage. There was hardly any Indian F&B brand which dedicated itself to health and wellness or had a complete line of health foods. So coming back to inspiration, we saw the opportunity to cater to the health conscious segment which was budding at that point of time. Gaia was among the first few brands that came up with a range of health foods and nutritional supplements. The word Gaia is the Greek name for the Goddess of the Earth. As the earth regenerates itself, so do we; Gaia was founded on the belief that nature, through the earth's diversity of flora and fauna, offers us the best solutions for all our health and personal care needs.
