The ‘Experiential Luxury' Of Four Seasons Bengaluru

Bengaluru isn’t just one of India’s most mature hospitality markets, boasting the largest number of rooms in the country, but also consists of several ‘micro markets’, with their own needs. It presents several challenges, but also many exciting opportunities.

Rainer Stampfer, President, Hotel Operations – Asia Pacific, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has gauged the massive potential that India’s burgeoning hospitality market offers. That’s evident with the launch of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Bengaluru, an extremely mature hospitality market, featuring the highest number of rooms in India.

The newly launched property will be an integral part of leading real estate developer and hospitality giant Embassy’s ambitious Embassy ONE, which, in addition to commercial office space and Four Seasons Private Residences Bengaluru, will offer luxury retail options to guests. The convenient location of the property—less than 30 minutes from the airport and close to the central business districts—makes it ideal for guests to experience Four Seasons’ service culture, which as Stampfer shares, “has always been the cornerstone of the brand.”

Clearly, it is Asia’s time to shine in the hospitality segment and for India, as one of the cultural hubs in the continent, things can only get better, emphasises Stampfer. Asia Pacific is now the world’s largest travel market and is projected to grow to USD 500 billion by 2021. Luxury travellers increasingly seek out rich and unique experiences and India has a lot to offer in this regard with her fascinating mix of old and new.

Hotelier India catches up with Stampfer to talk about what the Four Seasons brand will add to the buzzing Bengaluru market.
