India has a strong base of around 2 Million Small & Medium Businesses. All these businesses need customers. Where are these customers? These customers are on the internet. India’s Internet user base has already crossed 450 Million and is growing at a rate of 8-10 Million new users every month. Facebook has over 165 Million active users in India. And not just Facebook, it’s all the Social Media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. which people are spending a lot of time on. Indians spend over 2 hours everyday on Social Media. If companies can leverage Digital & Social Media Marketing they can reach out to these customers directly at a very low cost.

Social Media networks are amazing resources for businesses looking to promote their brands online. The platforms are generally free to use, but they also have paid advertising options specifically for brands that want to reach to newer audiences. However, just because your business should be on social media, that doesn’t mean you should be on every network. It’s important that you choose and nurture the social platforms that work best for your business, so that you don’t spend unnecessarily.
